What is landmine ?
Landmine is one of the weapons which was used to trap or as a line of defense burying
under the ground to protect the aggression or destruction from the aggressor. This attack may come by foot or by vehicles. There are many types of mines.

What cause the problems ?
The root of the problems is the difference of  ideologies, which will bring about conflict as well as from the conflicts among its neighboring countries. This cause people to suffer so much, because such an area are full of mines, UXO and booby-traps, besides this suffering, injuries, disability and death are also happened to innocent people and national resources will also affected too.

Do and don't from landmines


 
1. Avoid the possibility of the mined infested area.
2. Avoid the mined infested areas, by observing the sign or the marking 
      whichindicate by surveyors.
3. Never use mines in any activities.
4. Never develop, produce or stock any kind of landmines.
5. Never persuade, support or guide any body to touch explosive, 
     UXO or mines,immediately, inform concerning officers immediately.
6. When confront with explosive, UXO or mines, immediately.
7. Attending lecture and learning in details from expert officers.
8. Get to know about mines from the concern offices, which Provincial Mines
      Action Center (PMAC) was established in every provinces.

The mine infested areas in 18 bordered area provinces
which covered about 796 sq.km.
