                                                : Characteristics and associated dangers of fire in buildings.

                                                : Common types of fire detection and protection systems.

                                                : Types and methods of operating fire extinguishers

                                                : Fire emergency procedures in buildings

                                                : Basic fire hazards and safety precautions in buildings

                                                : Personal safety measures

                                                : Demonstration / Practice on the use of fire extinguishers.

FIRE FIGHTING COURSE FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAMS ( ERT )

 

2. MODULE (2)

 

DURATION                           4  days

DESIGNED  FOR                 : Individuals and fire teams from all sectors of Hospital, Hotel, Industry and commerce who will be actively

                                                 involved or form the first response fire-fighting teams in the initial                                                  mitigation and fire–fighting operation

                                                 during  a fire emergency situation involving building  structures.

                                                  the sick or injured in case of an emergency prior to the arrival of                                                   trained ambulance personnel.

                                                : Wound and Bleeding

                                                : Fracture

                                                : Respiratory System

                                                : Cardio – Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR

BASIC TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT ( BTLS )

9. MODULE  (9)

 

DURATION                             2  days

DESIGNED  FOR                   : The ERT,  firefighters, safety officer, security personnel, public works employees, lifeguards, flight crews,

                                                  and other interested persons with basic first aid skills and knowledge to give life support in an emergency

                                                  prior to the arrival of ambulance personnel.

CONTENT                              :Traumatic Injuries

                                                : Unconsciousness

                                                : Spinal Management

                                                : Mass casualties / Evacuation Plan

                                                : Lifting - Moving

10. MODULE  (10)

DESIGNED  FOR                   : The ERT Nurses , Doctors and other in ERT who may encounter trauma patients in their daily work.

 

                                                  :The participants have to completed the BTLS course

CONTENT                              :The mechanism of motion injuries.

                                                : Initial evaluation of trauma victim.

                                                : Head injuries Management

                                                : Management of abdominal pelvic injuries

                                                : Extremity trauma

                                                : Attachment to ambulance service
